T Minus One WeekWe have exactly one week before the lovefest known as Webzine 2005 kicks off into high gear! Things are shaping up really, really, nicely. We’ve got the schedule fairly well locked down and published. iCal version coming shortly. One hole we have yet to fill is our Sunday featured speaker. We’ve gotten a lot of awesome suggestions and we’re working diligently to find the right person who naturally expresses the zietgeist of DIY independent publishing. If that’s you, it’s not too late to let us know. Also, a couple of intentions that are worth noting. We plan to stream the audio of the main room in realtime. So if you can’t make it to Webzine physically, listen in and play along with us in the IRC channel. SHARE: Master's LoungeWe would be lying to you horribly if we tried to tell you that we've covered everything and everyone there is to know in the world of independent online publishing. The Lounge is a place where you can share your ideas, project, URL or whatever you happen to be working on with fellow allies and future friends. This area will be an open, self-selecting and self-scheduled space equipped with a digital projector and a round table. Gather 'round and exchange knowledge and contact info. Webzine 2005 is AccessibleOnline tickets for Webzine 2005 went for an amazingly low price of $22 for the whole shebang. Day passes were $13 in advance.
